Comply Or Die were formed from the ashes of York street punx The Hazard and York industrial metal titans Digicore, the aim was to create an original punk rock sound by combining the many influences of those members and resulted in a 4 track split EP with fellow York punx The Vexed in 2009.
The line up changed following the EP, Mike left to concentrate on other projects and following the 2nd UK tour, Steve left to focus on his family life. After a brief time off, the band are back to touring and writing with new guitarist Dan and bass player Lee. A full length album was released with the new line-up in October 2010.
In the short time Comply or Die have been together they have been on three UK tours, touring with US punks The Pogo and York's The Vexed, played 2nd on the bill at the awesome Mutiny Festival, had airplay on various radio shows and podcasts and shared the stage with many fantastic punk bands past and present, such as Anti-Nowhere league, Stiff Little Fingers, The Restarts, UK Subs, Goldblade, Blitzkrieg, Random Hand, Dogsflesh, John Player Specials, Middle Finger Salute, Contempt, The Pogo, Stuntface, Acid Drop, Outl4w, Short Bus Window Lickers, 4ft Fingers, Fandangle, The Johnstones, The Strawberry Blondes and more...
